Arcadia, Volumia, Elisia and Triplia are the names of the 4 sketches: “fantastic” geometric volumes compositions, built starting from perspective projections that can be perfectly observed from every angle. The rugs are the result of a combination of creativity, materials and widespread know-how. Each piece was conceived in MM Company’s Milan design studio, then completely hand-knotted by expert Indian craftsmen – following ancient techniques and using the finest materials, such as New Zealand wool and silk – and then presented in the exclusive showroom of Matteo Pala in Vicenza (Italy), located in the suggestive Villa Zileri. The ‘Prospettive Fantastiche’ collection is available in a sophisticated and minimalist colour palette enriched by a materiality obtained through the use of different heights of pile to accentuate vanishing lines and sense of depth: the closer we get to the centre the shorter the pile becomes. The result is a synthetic and rationalist composition, composed of independent elements that are linked by a single graphic sign.

A family history, a passion and an experience that oscillate between tradition and experimentation, the fascination for distant lands and the continuous search for personal and customized solutions: from all this comes what today Matteo Pala has transformed into a true center specialized in the design, creation and care of the carpet. A “custom oriented” project in which Matteo follows each phase: design, implementation, selection of materials to achieve the best result, shipping, consulting for the perfect preservation of quality over the years and possibly restoration, so that this experience remains unique over time.
