Collezione Caleido

Collezione Caleido is the self-produced furniture and objects brand of Caleido: an all-round creative project expressing the creative vision of Manuel Barbieri and Marco Magalini, founders of Caleido and MM Company.

A round dining table inspired by Brazilian modernism, characterised by essential geometric lines and brutalist volumes, obtained by the combination of a top in Brazilian 'blue sea' marble and a central cylindrical base made of naturally treated iron. The table is available in standard 90cm diameter, and is produced in Italy by expert craftsmen.
Container double bed with wave-shaped headboard, inspired by the modernist works of Brazilian architect Roberto Burle Marx, and in particular by his mosaic created on the Copacabana promenade. The product is made of fully lacquered mdf and wood multistrate and is available in a standard width of 300cm. The structure consists of a storage box with a lift-up slatted base. The headboard is equipped with 2 spherical wall lights, 2 shelves covered in Brazilian 'blue sea' marble that serve as bedside tables, and optional electrical accessories. The bed is made in Italy by expert craftsmen.

Collezione Caleido was created with the desire to enhance and tell the know-how of Made in Italy, combining it with the contemporary aesthetics of design. To achieve this, we selected artisans throughout Italy who make manufacturing and cultural excellence their strength, and asked them to produce the objects of Collezione Caleido.
